In 2016 King Brothers Ltd launched a new recycling and skip hire division, based at our Stranraer site. We have always been committed to recycling, with our background in scrap metal, but it was decided that the time was right to move into other waste streams. So King Bros Recycling was born, and continues to go from strength to strength with six skip and hooklift trucks, an artic and ejector trailer for bulk waste handling and over 300 skips and hooklift bins available for hire.

Waste recycling
All waste that we receive at King Bros Recycling is processed using our trommel and picking station based at our Stranraer waste transfer station. We separate as many of the materials as possible, including wood, rubble, soil, paper, cardboard, plasterboard, glass and plastics which we recycle to avoid using landfill and to help protect the environment. Our CK International baler is used to create mill size bales of cardboard, paper and rigid plastics for the export market.

King Bros Recycling supply skips from 2 and 3 yard mini skips, 8 to 14 yard chainlift skips and 15-40 yard hooklift bins across Stranraer, Newton Stewart and the rest of Dumfries and Galloway and South Ayrshire.
We specialise in skip hire for household and domestic clearances and building work with a wide range of open and enclosed skips for all purposes. We also supply 20 yard Hooklift bins for bulk soil and stone removal, 30 yard hooklift bins for paper and cardboard recycling and 40 yard Hooklift bins for Bulk waste removal. All waste types are catered for.
